U-Cafe 28 May -In the Footsteps of William Gaskell

Interested in Manchester or Unitarian history?

Come along to Cross Street Chapel (7.oopm for 7.30pm) on Thursday 28 May 2009.

William Gaskell served for almost 56 years as minister of Cross Street Chapel in the centre of 19th-century Victorian Manchester, addressing the issues of his day, often amid great controversy.

John Midgley, an admirer of William, recently served for ten years as Cross Street Minister in a much-altered city and in a very different age, with altogether different issues to face and controversies to handle.

He will offer some reflections on the life and times of Rev. William Gaskell in the 19th century, with comparisons with his ministry of the same chapel in the 20th-2lst century

Appreciating the hard work you put into your site and in depth information you provide.
It's awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn't the same unwanted rehashed material.
Fantastic read! I've saved your site and I'm including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

This design is spectacular! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my
own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!

Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with SEO?
I'm trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I'm not seeing very good gains.
If you know of any please share. Thanks!
